Earth Fairy Akita's go on a first come first serve basis, which means that if you are on our waiting list, you have the option of seeing the puppies by us emailing them to you and if you see the puppy you want, you have 48 hours to send us the non-refundable deposit ($250.00) to hold that particular puppy for you. I do recommend visiting us and seeing the puppies in person. The remaining amount is to be paid when you pick up or we deliver the puppy. We also have the right to refuse to sell a puppy for those situations we feel will not serve the puppy well. This means that no matter what number you are on the list, if you have chosen a certain puppy and put the deposit on him or her FIRST, then that puppy is no longer available to anyone else. This is what we mean by first come first serve. So for those of you that are lower on the list, you have the same options as the first people on the list. If I get two people that want the same puppy, I will go by the TIME that the emails were received. I think that is only fair.
Every breeder does their breeding differently. I understand that the OFC testing can be done, along with DNA and eyes. As a buyer, you have the option NOT to purchase a dog from us if that kind of testing is what you are looking for. And if you link to my referral page, there is a breeder that does. PLEASE KNOW THAT MY DOGS ARE NOT ALL AKC. Nor have we done any testing on our dogs other than the recommended health testing, heart guard, and de worming. They are well socialized and very well tempered. Please check out our guest book to see what other people have said that purchased puppies from our first litter. Please feel free to e-mail me if you are interested in being on our waiting list. This , by no means, assures that you have to purchase a puppy, it just gives you the privilege of purchasing before any one else.
WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS OVERSEAS.
We ask the buyers to keep in touch with us and send pictures of the puppy they have purchased so we can see how our lines are growing and the markings they acquire as they grow. We also like to hear how the families are doing as many of them have become fast friends. We use a puppy contract with the clause in it "If anything should happen that the buyer should not be able to keep the pup/dog for any reason, we reserve the right to purchase the puppy back before being sold to someone else."
There are thousands of breeders out there. Take your time and get to know them before you purchase a puppy, interview them as they interview you. Visit the home of the breeder and see the dogs for yourselves and how they interact with not only people but the puppies themselves. Tour the facility even if it is someones home or/and actual outside Kennel. You will be able to tell if the dogs are well cared for, healthy, playful or totally the opposite. And make sure that they give you a way to contact them not only just through email, but a phone number, have them send you pictures of the puppy that you want to purchase. And make your payment through pay pal or some other secure form of payment. That way if there is a problem and you decide you do not want to purchase the puppy you have a means of receiving your money back. READ THEIR CONTACT AGREEMENT IF THEY HAVE ONE. Ours is from another breeder and she had a lawyer go over it with her. Then it was changed to fit our breed. But please know that the breeding contract is only as good as the paper it is written on. Thank you.
